Reputable & reliable school looking for dedicated teachers already in Korea beginning in March 2015. Teach a wide range of subjects including Science & Social Studies with American textbooks.

We are currently offering both full-time and part-time positions.

FULL-TIME ONE YEAR CONTRACT POSITIONS:

BENEFITS:

- Monthly salary: 2.1 to 2.2 million won

- Fully-furnished single studio apartment or a housing allowance of 450,000 won per month

- Essay correction fee : 3,000 won per essay

- Overtime rate of 20,000 KRW an hour

- 15 paid vacation days in addition to all national holidays

- Severance pay at the end of 1 year contract

- E-2 Visa sponsorship

- National Medical Insurance

- National Pension Fund

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- 30 teaching hours per week (Monday through Friday)

- No Saturdays and no split shifts

- Teachers must come to work 1.5 hours before the first class for preparation

- Students range from elementary to adult (No kindergarten or nursery)

- 10 students max. per class

- Structured and set curriculum

TYPICAL TEACHING SCHEDULE:

MWF

1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Prep time

3:00 - 4:20 p.m. Class 1

4:30 - 6:20 p.m. Class 2

6:30 - 8:20 p.m. Class 3

8:30 – 9:30 p.m. Adult class

TTH

2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Prep

4:00 - 6:55 p.m. Class 1

7:10 - 10:00 p.m. Class 2

PART-TIME (MWF ONLY) ONE YEAR CONTRACT POSITIONS

BENEFITS:

- Hourly wage: 30,000 won

- No housing or housing allowance

- Essay correction fee : 3,000 won per essay

- E-2 Visa sponsorship (if necessary)

- Teachers must come to work 1 hour (unpaid) before the first class for preparation

- Students range from elementary to adult (No kindergarten or nursery)

- 10 students max. per class

- Structured and set curriculum

TYPICAL TEACHING SCHEDULE:

MWF

2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Prep time

3:00 - 4:20 p.m. Class 1

4:30 - 6:20 p.m. Class 2

6:30 - 8:20 p.m. Class 3

8:30 – 9:30 p.m. Adult class (when available – not guaranteed)

CANDIDATES FOR ALL POSITIONS:

- Native English speakers with E2 visa eligibility, currently living in Korea

- Minimum of a B.A degree

- Teaching experience not a requirement but preferred

- Enthusiastic, friendly, culturally sensitive, hard-working, and professional

- Team oriented and have a love of children
