We are currently recruiting teachers for the 2015-2016 school year, late August start.

About Our Schools:

The Kindergarten --- Our Kindergarten is a private early education centre located in Shunde District, Guangdong Province. Kindergartens focuses on delivering high quality and fun lessons to young learners.

The average class size is 25-35 students, with four adults (1 Foreign Teacher, 2 Chinese Teachers, and a nanny). At least one of the Chinese teachers is a fluent English speaker, and in many classes the second Chinese teacher can also speak English.

In a typical work day, our foreign teachers teach two hours of lessons, in 25-30 minute sections. At other times during the day, foreign teachers are expected to assist Chinese teachers with classroom activities and play time.

The English Training Centre --- As soon as you walk into one of our schools, you will instantly get a feeling of a welcoming environment conducive to learning....... which after all is our highest priority. Teachers and other staff members are relaxed, students stay after class to chat, and there's a general buzz of friendly productivity.

We have customized classrooms for each student age group. They are equipped with heaps of extra English reading material as well as games & activities, they have modern desks, computer labs with tons of extra-curricular content, bright student lounges and teacher preparation areas.

Our teaching programs are developed for all ages and are designed to give a structured base for our foreign teachers to work from, with room to mould to your style of teaching. All of our Foreign Experts are supported by a Chinese Teachers' Assistant.

Mastery of English opens up a world of opportunities for our students, inturn as well as contributing to our global village. By teaching English in China, you will make a real difference in each student's life.

About Shunde:

Shunde is one of the richest cities in China per capita. It's located 45min South West of Guangzhou and is dotted with parks, shopping centers with both Chinese and International restaurants.. Many of our teachers enjoy spending their weekends running along the riverside, picnicking by a lake, or hanging out in a local cafe. The large flow of international trade that flows through Shunde brings international culture and events to the city. So all in all a pleasant modern city to live in!

Travelling to nearby major cities such as Hong Kong & Macau, Guangzhou, Shenzen and Zhuhai is particularly easy because of an abundance of transportation options:

Guangzhou South HSR Station: 20 minutes by hi-speed train.

Central Guangzhou: 1 hour by inter-city bus.

Zhuhai: 1 hour by hi-speed train..

Shenzhen: 1.5 hours by bus.

Guangzhou International Airport: 1.5 hours by express shuttle bus.

Hong Kong: Two hours by high-speed ferry.

Salary and Benefits:

10-14K RMB p/month starting salary, depending on qualifications and experience.

Fully legal 30 day Z-Visa for entry into China with a 1 year Work Permit and Residence Papers to follow in the weeks after arrival.

One bedroom furnished apartment in modern apartment complex, no further than 10-20 minutes' walk from school.

Breakfast and lunch provided at kindergarten.

Free airport pickup, help settling in.

Our friendly staff provides ongoing help with any issues in regards to living in China, such as setting up online shopping accounts, translation, banking, medical care etc.

Requirements:

University Degree (Essential for Z, Work Visa & Residence Permit)

Minimum 2 years experience will be a distinct advantage

120 Hour TEFL/TESOL/CELTA, again looked at favourably

Must have a passport from USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada

Willing to commit to a one year contract

Warm and friendly with kids.
