The Job

Our international kindergarten is now recruiting qualified and passionate English teachers to teach at our school in Huangpu district, Guangzhou. Through our devotion to education and teaching methodology, we ensure that our students develop long-term excellence in all four skills ¡V reading, writing, speaking and listening.

We are a reputable international kindergarten in Guangzhou. Teachers will be teaching the IB PYP curriculum to our students. Class sizes are 10 to 24 students per class and you will be teaching English. We warmly welcome you to join our school and make your stay in China count! Teach English in Zengchen, Guangzhou

Main Responsibilities
o Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week 
o Maximum of 15 admin hours per week (depends on work load every week) 
o Monday to Friday regular work schedule with evenings & weekends off 
o Student ages: 3 to 8 
o Class size: 10 to 24 students per class 
o Teach English in a fun and engaging way 
o Teach IB PYP curriculum 


Compensation
o Excellent salary: 18,000 to 24,000 RMB per month (depending on qualifications and experience) 
o Airport pick-up and 6 days hotel stay upon arrival
o Housing allowance: 2,000 RMB per month
o Flight reimbursement: up to 7,000 RMB 
o Average of 1.5 months summer vacation & 1 month winter vacation (60% pay) plus Christmas & all national holidays (full pay) 
o Contract completion bonus: 4,000 to 5,000 RMB
o Free meals provided during work schedule 
o Legal Z work visa provided
o Health insurance provided
o Professional in-depth training provided 


Requirements
o Bachelor's degree 
o Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland 
o At least 1 year of teaching experience required 
o TEFL certificate 120 hours or above required if you do not have a teaching license (No TEFL? We recommend INTESOL, est. 1993, 50% discounts: www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL) 
o Clean criminal record check
o Fluency in oral and written English
o Professional, positive and culturally aware
o Energetic, friendly and hard working
