Teach at Korea International School in Beijing - 21,000rmb / Month

Primary School Native English Teacher (K-6th grade)

Starting salary from 21,000rmb per month.

Contract duration: 1 year (starting March 1, 2016 and ending February 29, 2017).

Korea International School in Beijing (KISB) is a K-12 school for Korean expatriate students. Native teacher classes are taught immersion-style, entirely in English. Teacher duties include both oral and written English lessons. All teachers must submit weekly lesson plans and write mid-term and final examinations. Class sizes range from 10 to 20 students per class. Students are tested at the beginning of each term and then divided into levels based on English language ability.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree

2. At least 2 years of teaching experience

3. TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, TKT, TESL (Or equivalent English Teaching Certificate of at least 120 hours of coursework)

4. Microsoft Office proficiency (or equivalent)

5. Must be a native English speaker

6. Must like to work with children/teens

7. Must enjoy working as part of a dedicated team

Working Conditions at KISB for Full-time Teachers:

1. Base salary starts from 15,000 RMB per month (pre-tax), but incentive bonuses are available based on qualifications (TESOL, TEFL, Graduate Degree, Teaching Certificate). In ADDITION to the base salary, teachers receive a housing allowance of 6200 RMB (or 7200 RMB for families of 3 or larger) per month.

2. Fully-paid summer and winter vacations (approx. 3 months/year).

3. Working hours: 8:00 am – 4:30pm (Monday-Friday) / 8:10 am – 4:40pm (If participating in After School Activity Program)

4. A full schedule comprises 20 classes per week (40 minutes per class). Extra classes are required and are compensated at 200 RMB per class (pre-tax).

5. Daily lunch provided in the school cafeteria.

6. Z visa sponsorship.

7. One-way airfare to China reimbursed (if hired outside of China) - provided after the completion of one full semester (~5,000rmb).

8. Contract completion bonus of one month's salary (15,000rmb)
