Job Details:

-Location: Hohhot, Inner Mongolia (north-central China)

-Number of teaching vacancies: 4

-Employment type: Full-time 1 year contract

-Number of foreign teachers at school: 7

-Number of Chinese teachers at school: 7

-Number of students: 300

-Age of students: 3-14 years old

-Max. number of students per class: ages 3-6, 12 students per class; ages 6-14, 18 students per class

-Office hours per week: Maximum of 10

-Teaching hours per week: Maximum of 24

-Teaching assistant: 1 Chinese teaching assistant for each class

-Course books and resources: Midisauraus (younger students), Our Discovery Island (older students); resources include computers, printers, photocopier, laminator, toys, flashcards, arts/crafts, and additional classroom props



Employment Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree

-TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification

-Native English speaker

-Some teaching experience



Salary and Benefits:

-Monthly salary (negotiable): 7,000-8,000CNY, excellent salary in Hohhot, equivalent to that of a Chinese mid-level manager allowing for a high standard of living and the ability to save or enjoy travelling during time off.

-Work permit: Work permit, foreign expert certificate, and work visa (z-visa) sponsored and paid for

-Insurance: local emergency health insurance provided

-Accommodations: Offsite housing provided

-Airfare reimbursement: 9,000CNY airfare reimbursement

-Paid holidays (not including Chinese national holidays): 10 days paid vacation
