The job
We warmly invite candidates who believe in our vision to join our team to assist us in helping Chinese children to speak better English, and work together to create a better world.
Our school is a virtues-based English learning centre in Beijing, China, serving children from 2-12 year olds. WCE provides English learning programs, with the aim of helping children to communicate in English at a native level. We offer a tailored curriculum for children at different ages, using materials from multiple sources.
Courses
At our school we recognize that every student has his or her own learning style. Classes have been carefully designed so that each student can thrive while learning English. Our students have the chance to: listen, speak, see, touch, sing, draw, move, and interact with classmates.
We offers 90-minute classes for each student twice a week. The class size ranges from 10 to 15 students, depending on the age of the children, which allows for good progress to be made and makes for easier classroom management.
We focus on developing English speaking skills by creating real life experiences, in an English-only immersive classroom environment, that prepares our children to communicate effectively with people around the world. With an emphasis on empowering your child to converse in English with proper pronunciation and eloquence, teachers create real-life scenarios and drama performances to bring English alive in an engaging and motivating way for all students.
Each class includes a 15-minute virtues lesson, using a systematic character education program called "Virtues in Us", we introduce, develop understanding, and encourage the practice of virtues like, truthfulness, kindness, responsibilities, co-operation and courtesy.
