Teach English in an International Preschool

10,000rmb – 18,000rmb per month to teach English in an international preschool. 15 hours per week + other options available.

On the job training and support provided.

We are looking for ESL teachers to fill several different positions, suitable for all experience levels of teaching. If you have any questions about any of the options, feel free to email them to us.

Job Options

1. Part time EAL teacher. 
Hours: 15 hours per week (5 mornings) 
Duties: English lessons for children, using school teaching curriculum 
Complete paperwork for classes (what you did, children’s progress, etc) 
Support teachers and children in using English 
Pay: 10,000RMB per month 
Accommodation: apartment provided or can provide subsidy for an apartment of your choice. 
Note: extra work is available in evenings and weekends for teaching English and other subjects. Pay for this is dependent on time and subject.

2. Full time EAL teacher 
Hours: 25 hours per week (5 days) 
Duties: English lessons for children, using school teaching curriculum 
Complete paperwork for classes (what you did, children’s progress, etc) 
Support teachers and children in using English 
Work to develop the English curriculum, based on the needs of the school and individual classes 
Pay: 12,000 RMB – 18,000RMB (depending on relevant qualifications and experience) 
Accommodation: apartment provided or can provide subsidy for an apartment of your choice. 
Note: extra work is available in evenings and weekends for teaching English and other subjects. Pay for this is dependent on time and subject.

3. Part time EAL and part time class teacher 
Hours: 15 hours per week (5 mornings) 
Duties: English lessons for children, using school teaching curriculum 
Complete paperwork for classes (what you did, children’s progress, etc) 
Support teachers and children in using English 
Work in a class (10 to 15 hours per week), supporting the teacher and learning to teach in the style we use 
Take on core teacher responsibilities over time and as decided with the core teacher 
Note: this job would lead to being a full core teacher in time, depending on the growth of the school and movement of teachers) 
Pay: 10,000 RMB – 16,000RMB (depending on relevant qualifications and experience) 
Accommodation: apartment provided or can provide subsidy for an apartment of your choice. 
Note: extra work is available in evenings and weekends for teaching English and Note: this role has different requirements to EAL teacher, due to visa requirements, so may not be possible for everyone. We are happy to try for other subjects. Pay for this is dependent on time and subject.

You must have: 
• A bachelor’s degree (preferably in an Education/Language related subject, but not required) 
• A TEFL certificate is required if your degree is not Education/Language related 
• Native English speaker from Australia, America, Canada, the UK or New Zealand 
OR 
• Obtained Bachelor's degree in an English speaking country.

The school is located in Deyang, Sichuan Province (30 minutes train journey from the city of Chengdu). We do not use an agency, and we are fully licensed to hire foreign teaching staff.
