Greenheart Travel is now accepting applications for the 2012 start dates for EPIK public school positions throughout Korea.

EPIK (English Program in Korea) is a government program of the Korean Ministry of Education Science and Technology. EPIK is looking to hire responsible, enthusiastic native English speakers who are motivated to share knowledge with students and teachers. One year contract

Orientation: August 2012

Contract Start Date: September 2012b>

Benefits:

- Paid vacation: Teachers receive national holidays and public school holidays plus 18 additional days of paid vacation

- Paid salary (1.8-2.7 million won/per month, depending on location and experience)

- Free single furnished housing (utilities not included)

- Entrance Allowance of 1.3 million KRW to purchase a one-way ticket, paid upon arrival

- Exit Allowance of 1.3 million KRW

- Settlement allowance of 300,000 KRW, paid within first month of contract

- Training in Korea (Free Orientation)

- One month salary severance pay upon completion of contract

- Paid vacation for 18 working days + 13-15 National Holidays

- Accident and medical insurance

- Rent-free accommodation in a studio apartment

Requirements< /span>

- Native English speaker

- BA/BS degree in any field

- Citizenship in a country where the primary spoken language is English (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa)

*No teaching experience required
