Teach English in THAILAND –May 2012 –No Teaching Experience Required – Accepting Applications Now!

Established in 1985, the Center for Cultural Interchange (CCI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit international exchange organization dedicated to the promotion of cultural understanding, environmental consciousness and world peace.

Greenheart Travel is now accepting applications for the May 2012 start dates for teaching positions throughout Thailand.

Application Deadline for May Start Date: March 15, 2012

Contract Length: 5 Months or 10 Months

Start Date: May 18, 2012

Benefits:

• One week orientation in Bangkok, Thailand with TEFL workshops, teaching tips, sightseeing and cross-cultural training

• Airport pickup

• Monthly salary of 16,000 - 20,000 Baht ($500-650 USD)

• Legal documentation including a work permit (paid for by school)

• Free accommodation (or a monthly accommodation stipend)

• School coordinator for support and guidance

• In-country support for duration of the program

• Travel insurance included

• Reimbursement for plane ticket home (10 month contracts only)

• Participants receive a guidebook to Thailand Customs and Culture before departure

Requirements

• Native English speaker

• BA/BS degree in any field

• Minimum age is 20

• Citizen of US, CA, UK, Ireland, AU, NZ, or S. Africa

• Teaching experience is highly preferred, but not required

Program Costs*

5 month program: $1,900

10 month program: $2,370

*Program costs do not include the airfare to Thailand

For teachers with Education degrees and teaching qualifications, and who are able to teach subjects other than English (especially Science and Math), Greenheart Travel is excited to offer the Teach in Thailand Professional program with added benefits for qualified teachers:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Education, Science or Math is required

• Minimum contract length: One academic year (two consecutive semesters)

• Very generous salary: 33,000 Baht per month (~1,070 USD/month)

• 20,000 Baht (~650 USD) upon successful completion of contract

• Professional participants have higher expectations placed on them in terms of their teaching ability and performance

*The professional program involves the same program costs as the regular Teach in Thailand program and includes the same orientation and support
