Teach English in the Modern Beautiful City of Ningbo

Chinese House have an exciting new program offering university graduates the opportunity to earn money as an ESL teacher in Ningbo, learn Mandarin and explore China and the Chinese culture this vast country has to offer.  

Job Responsibilities

1. Preparing lesson plans for your classes
2. Teaching and run a class of students of various ages (generally young kids 3-7 years old) teaching them conversational English
3. Be comfortable interacting with kids and be able to convey the English language very competently and clearly
4. Be familiar with the school process
5. Attend regular school meetings and school activities
6. Be responsible, creative, professional and dedicated

We are offering:

1. Salaries depending on qualifications but generally between 10000-14000 RMB per month
2. Free Mandarin classes and cultural activity experiences
3. A Mandarin study certificate
4. Flight subsidy of 5000 RMB upon completion of 12-month contract

Requirements:

1. Bachelors Degree or higher
2. No criminal record
3. Healthy and free from any contagious disease (you will have to provide a medical certificate for this prior to applying for visa)
4. Commitment of at least 1 year in China
5. TESL, TESOL, TEFOL or equivalent is preferred
6. UK, AU, NZ, US, Canada, South Africa passports only, will accept other passports if you have a degree from a native English speaking country
