Position Description:
Position Name: English Teacher
Location: Zhongshan, Guangdong, China
Duration: 4 months +
Commencement: Immediate start

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Curriculum development and classroom teaching for English courses including TOEFL, IELTS, Academic English and Conversational English
• Monitor the progress, and contribute to the development of the course in order to ensure the best outcome for the students. Maximize their academic potential and help prepare them for study abroad opportunities
• Teaching at a local primary school two days a week
• Facilitate student activities to promote integration to Western culture
• Demonstrate a proven capacity to improve student learning and promote academic excellence
• Prepare report for students’ progress and provide feedback of their academic performance
• Report to management team with progress of the course development

The successful applicant:

• Must be a native English speaker from Canada, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland (non-native speakers need not apply)

• Will preferably have a degree (in any field) and/or a teaching certificate

• Will be flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn
