Job information -
1. Job Title: Oral English Teacher - Kindergarten; Elementary and Middle School.-
2. Job Description: -a) These are full-time positions. Duties include lesson planning, teaching, as well as communicating with parents as required. Elementary and Middle school teaching also requires homework allocation, test preparation and marking.-b) The teaching requirement is up to 20 periods/week (1 period = 40 minutes). In cases where the employee does less than the above listed classes, the we will still pay the listed monthly salary. Overtime payments are made at a set rate per class. -c) Work hours are from 7:50 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday work also required.
3. Salary and benefits: -a) Salary will be based on employee’s education and experience. -RMB 8, 000 - 15000.
• up to USD 2000 moving allowance.-• 80% of first year round trip airfare.-• Paid vacations (7 weeks in July/August, 4 weeks in January/February, Five 4-day holidays, 5 days paid leave).-• International Health Insurance with 100% coverage and automatic billing at many Beijing hospitals, 65%-85% coverage at hospitals worldwide.-• Medical leave of absence for up to one year, with health coverage (including maternity leave with full salary).-• Subsidized housing adjacent to school (approximately 600-2400 RMB a month rent).-• Tuition reimbursement for graduate study / continuing education.-• Highly Subsidized tuition for children.-• Additional bonuses during school year .
24/7 access to Indoor Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Badminton facilities, and outdoor track and soccer field.-• Optional after-work recreation events (e.g. all school or all company banquets, tournaments in Badminton, Basketball, Track & Field).-• Opportunities to transfer to SMIC Private schools in Shanghai and Wuhan.
II. Qualification -Applicants should meet the following requirements: -
1. Native English speaker from the US ,UK ,Canada ,Australia or New Zealand are preferred.-
2. University graduate or above; SMIC will pay for graduates with Bachelors degrees to complete an ESL certification course in Beijing that enables them to receive work visas as Foreign Experts.
3.Two-year experience or more is preferred but not essential.-4.Willing to sign an initial two year contract with the option of a single yearly roll over after that.
