Position 1: Lead Teacher

Location: Beijing

Reporting To: Principal

Job Profile

• Leaders who can manage, support, and evaluate the professional development of other teachers

• Ability to develop and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child

• Monitor the execution of MIK’s curricula standards and class quality as part of creating a professional and caring teaching environment

• Serves as a liaison between teachers, school administrators, and sometimes parents

• Coordinate with teachers and site managers on matters of budgeting, purchasing, and site operations

• Instruct a class that serves as a lab for utilizing best teaching practices

Qualifications

• Native English speaker required from North America, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand

• BA degree plus ECE or Primary School teaching License

• Over 5 years related working experience in a teaching field (including management experience)

Terms:

Start Date: August 25th, 2014

Weekly Work Hours: 45 hours/week

Contract Duration: 2 years

Compensation: 18,000 to 22,000 RMB/month, net of taxes, salary commensurate with experience.

Position 2: Nursery, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Teacher

Location: Beijing

Reporting To: Lead Teacher

Objective: As a teacher, you will be working with students from 2 to 7 years old. Along with our Chinese Teacher Assistants and Daily Life Teachers, your job will be to engage our students to develop their own talents and social competence to become a curious life-long-learner.

Position 3: Global Track After School ESL Teacher

Location: Beijing and Other Cities

Reporting To: Lead Teacher

Objective: Our team of international Global Track teachers present students with an immersive English environment in which students are challenged not just to communicate in English, but also to speak their mind in a variety of issues, from their favorite foods to global warming, preparing them for future dialogues in China and abroad. GT teachers are there to support and mentor students, provide guidance, and instill a sense of curiosity and passion for learning.

Job Profile:

• Creative individuals who can make ESL learning fun, interactive and educational

• Bachelor’s degree

• Seasoned as well as younger professionals excited to start exploring careers through ESL education. Must have two years of work experience after graduation • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
