About Us
We aim to accelerate the process of cultural exchange and education, meanwhile cultivating students' career vision and international competitiveness. We plan to introduce foreign teachers for our English departments in private kindergartens and public schools grade 1 - 12. Our hope is not only to help students improve English fluency, but also to promote international understanding and cooperation.
Overview
- Five working days per week
- Maximum teaching hours: 18 per week (Monday to Friday)
- Classes are about 45 minutes long each
- Student ages (you may choose): Pre-K / Kindergarten | Grades 1-5 (Primary School) | Grades 6-9 (Middle School) | Grades 10-12 (High School - these jobs get filled fast!)
- Class sizes: About 50 students
- Textbook: The teacher may select courseware
About Shenzhen
Shenzhen sprung up on the border with Hong Kong almost literally overnight - what was fields and forests just twenty years ago has become one of the most vibrant young cities in mainland China. One of the fastest growing cities in the world, Shenzhen has become the heart of foreign direct investment in China with a thriving tech industry and home to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Because of its tropical climate, proximity to Hong Kong and promise of economic opportunity, Shenzhen has become one of the most popular destinations for expats to live and work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (notarized)
- Two years' teaching experience after graduation is preferred
- Native English speaker from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, the United States, or the U.K
- Should hold a TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA
- Criminal background check (police check, notarized)
- Excellent physical and mental health
- Teachers already in China with a working visa will be short listed!
Remuneration
- Monthly salary from CNY 9,500 to CNY 12,000 (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
- Housing: (1) furnished Western style apartment (shared) provided by the school, or (2) housing allowance
- Comprehensive medical and accident insurance
- 11-days' public holiday per year
- Holiday: 4-weeks' winter / 8-weeks' summer (paid at 50% salary)
- Z-Visa
- Airfare allowance paid by the completion of contract
- Sponsored TEFL certification for qualified applicants
- Contract bonus from CNY 4-8,000
- Attendance bonus CNY 200/mo.
- Breakfast and lunch provided on workdays
