Teach to Travel’s South Korea positions are based in and around Seoul, Gumi, Jeju, and near Busan. There are a number of other areas which are also serviced, however, these positions are only available at different times of the year. The positions themselves are all catering for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary positions.

Each of our locations have been heavily researched by Teach to Travel agents and have been confirmed as safe destinations for teachers to abide in.

The locations themselves are found by Teach to Travel agents in South Korea. The availability of these will depend on the qualifications and experience of the teacher. If the teacher is new to the teaching world, then perhaps the surrounding areas of these cities, as well as the aforementioned listed cities, will become the readily available options. However, there will be a degree of flexibility with regards to this.

Salary range: 2,100,000-2,200,000 won

Type of students: elementary-middle school students

Teaching hours: 30 /week

School operating hours:2pm-9:30pm(hours can change slightly by students enrolment)

Number of current foreign teachers: 3

Housing: single

*** Gumi is a 400,000 population city near Daegu

Type of school: private language school

Start date: mid-late of February

Salary range: 2,000,000-2,100,000 won

Type of students: kindergarten-elementary school students

Teaching hours: 30 /week

School operating hours:9am-6pm(hours can change slightly by students enrollment)

Number of current foreign teachers: 3

Housing: single

***Jeju is a beautiful, touristic island off the southern coast.

Qualifications:

Generally our teachers require the following:

1) A University Degree

2) You should be a UK/US/AUZ/NZ/CA citizen

3) Ability to immerse yourself in other cultures

4) You MUST get a background check
