King’s Kids is an up-and-coming, well-respected language training school for children in the city of Tianjin, China. We currently have five centers in Tianjin city with plans to open more in the near future. Each center has its own twist and personal feel, but all are uniquely King’s, equipped with modern teaching equipment and materials, with bright and airy layouts, making all of our centers both an ideal place for our employees to work and our students to learn.

Our offer here is one of the best available amongst English training schools in China, in terms of salary, working hours, working environment and other benefits:

1. Base salary: Ranging from 7,500RMB to 12,500RMB per month, depending on qualifications and experience.

2. Housing allowance: 2,500RMB per month, on top of base salary.

3. Chinese tuition: we provide all our teachers who are interested in learning Chinese with private lessons up to five times a week with our in-house, fully qualified Chinese teachers (from Monday to Friday).

4. Medical insurance.

5. Legal working Z visa.

6. Training: teachers will be fully trained soon after arrival and we also provide on-going training throughout a teacher’s time with us.

7. Accommodation: provided. Modern apartments. No dormitory type arrangements.

8. Annual flight allowance: 8,000RMB at end of yearly contract.

9. Holidays: all Chinese national holidays (amounting to approximately 20 days, fully paid), plus ONE WEEK PAID HOLIDAY during the summer. Hardly any schools offer this.

10. Airport pickup.

Job specifications:

1. Teaching children from ages 3-12.

2. Interactive, modern teaching facilities.

3. 21 hours teaching (plus 3 hours to allow for possible meetings) per week from Wednesday to Sunday. NO OFFICE HOURS.

4. Class size maximum of 12 students.

5. Chinese teaching assistant with fluent English for all classes.

6. All lesson plans provided.

Requirements:

1. Graduated from university with at least bachelor’s degree at least two years prior to job application (for visa purposes).

2. English teaching qualification (TEFL, CELTA, TOEFL).

3. Willing to commit to one year contract.

4. Native English speaker from the UK, the US, Canada, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand.

5. The ability to obtain a clear background check.

One of the best and rarest things about our company is that we have non-Chinese in the upper management, which means our main focus, more so than other schools, is ensuring that our teachers are very well-looked after and any issues are taken very seriously and deal with swiftly. Our priority is hiring teachers with great, warm personalities who can really contribute to the atmosphere of our company and to ensure all of teachers are happy on the job and satisfied with us. The majority of our teachers are in their second and third year with the company, a fact of which we are very proud.

Tianjin itself is a very big, laidback, modern city that caters to all Western needs.

Having said that, if you ever bore of your surroundings, we are on the fast train route which goes along much of the East coast of China, making cities like Beijing (30 minutes), Shanghai (five hours) and Nanjing (four hours) extremely accessible for short breaks.
