2 Native-speaking Teachers Needed in a well-run language school not far from Shanghai, 8000-10000 RMB, bonus, housing, visa

Hi, my name is Adam, founder and principal of Leading English Learning Center (LELC). I am writing this letter trying to recruit some native-speaking English teachers for LELC here in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. Thank you for your time and patience reading it.

Leading English is the language school founded and run by myself since 2001, after my stay in Wisconsin and Virginia for 5 years during 95 to 2000. From 3 kids up to now with over 2500 students, 3 campuses and 50 full-time English teachers, I feel proud and grateful to able to invite you to come and teach at this well-established, independent English learning center.

Located in booming Zhejiang Province, southeast China, Shaoxing is both an ancient and modern city. Shaoxing is a famous city within China, as its rich history and culture dating back 2500 years, along with beautiful, water-crossed scenery draws in millions of tourists each year. Over 4 million people live in the city and there are many wonderful parks, shops, restaurants, tea houses and cafes to serve them. Only 1.5 hours away from Shanghai by bullet train, Shaoxing makes for an attractive base to begin your introduction to China.

Teaching at Leading English you will feel safe, welcome, and respected. The most important is: small class, good support, and students who are well-behaved and eager to learn. We do a Spelling Bee and CCTV English Talent Competition every year to encourage students to speak up. We also have readers Club, Parents Meeting, one to one tutoring for some advanced or special students.

*Job Status: full-time

*Start Date: Feb 28

*Salary: RMB8000-10000/month, negotiable if quite experienced

*Teaching Assistant Provided: Yes

*Teaching Hour: 20 teaching hours weekly, 8 office hours in our regular spring and fall program, 24 hours a week maximum during the summer, however, must be willing to work during most of the weekends.

*Class Type: 8-16 students each class , students age: 5-18

*Accommodation: fully-furnished 2br apartment, with Internet Access and western toilet

*Airfare or bonus: RMB8000 after finishing one year contract

*Travel bonus: RMB3000 after finishing one year contract

*Free Chinese class: Yes

*Holidays: Paid holidays at least 3 weeks a year besides National holidays

++Required qualifications++

*Passport of USA, CAN (just because our recent-year teachers are all from the north America). Visa can be assisted to apply by school.

*BA/BS Degree, qualification to get a working permit from the government.

*TEFL,TESOL Certificate, with at least 1 year general teaching experience preferred

More about me, Principal Adam:
My purpose is to establish more direct relationships with American schools, to make my business more international. I know many well-run private-owned language schools like Leading English are the bridges between the two different cultures. So, in November 2013, I visited many US cities like LA , DC, NY, Boston, visiting 12 different schools from K-12, universities like Stanford, Princeton, MIT and Harvard, meeting my students studying in the States, talking to some of the teachers there of course:). I feel my trip helpful, fruitful and successful.

In May 2014, I represented my school at the Scripps Int'l Spelling Bee Final in Washington DC with my national champion student, Xiyuan Wang. He ranked No 47 out of 281 top spellers worldwide. What a fun experience!
Now, in March 2015, I will lead some of our top students going inside the UN to attend the great event MMUN, with other 2000 students from all over the world.
