The Job

Our training center is now recruiting professional and qualified English teachers to teach young learners between 2 to 6 years old in kindergarten or primary school students aged 7 to 12 years old in our training center. Our school is a high-end education brand from Canada and was established in 2000 by a Canadian professional educator. We currently have 16 centers all over Guangdong province with an average of 300 students in each school. We work with over a hundred foreign teachers and we are looking for more talents to be a part of our team as we are continually expanding.

Our training center is a multi-developed educational organization which not only provides quality education to young learners, but also takes pride in publishing our own textbooks and original English teaching materials. The core teaching method that we use focuses on two important factors of English: English logic and sense of language. Our teaching style requires that the young learners are not aware of direct translations, but instead, they acquire the language through the use of English thinking patterns in an English speaking environment and shape their learning as if they were native speakers. We put strong emphasis on listening and speaking first, then reading and writing follows later on. Our classes are filled with games, exciting activities and humorous lessons so young learners can enjoy learning in a fun-filled environment.

Main Responsibilities
-Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week
-5 to 12 admin hours per week
-No weekend classes for kindergarten teachers
-Weekend classes with two days off during the week for training school teachers
-Lesson planning and checking of homework and quizzes
-Attend professional teacher trainings and staff meetings
-Take part during special celebrations and promotional activities
-Enhance students’ verbal and listening skills in English

Compensation
-Excellent salary: 9,000 to 10,000 RMB per month (depending on qualifications and teaching ability)
-Airfare allowance provided: up to 10,000 RMB (20% will be provided 15 days prior to arrival, 30% will be provided after 6 months and the remaining 50% after completion of contract)
-Housing accommodation provided (fully-furnished apartment, shared common area)
-Paid overtime: 150 to 180 RMB per hour
-11 days national holidays

Requirements
-Bachelor’ s degree
-TEFL certificate required for teachers with no teaching experience (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL http://www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL)
-Native English speaker preferred although non-native candidates with fluent English and good experience are welcome to apply
-Teaching experience preferred
