Teacher for College Preparatory Program 13,000 RMB + Per month Free Accommodation and Flight Allowance Chengdu, China

Highly exciting and challenging position in a growing International Education Program is offered for an experienced Teacher to provide college preparatory programs in Chengdu for an immediate start. The program is designed for Chinese high school students that will be attending college in the U.S. or other English-speaking countries.

The program combines traditional U.S. high school courses to prepare students for college abroad, while also allowing them to earn a U.S. diploma and a Chinese High School Diploma.

These classes feature engaging daily lessons that focus on teaching English: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing, within a specific content of study.

This position is ideal for individuals interested in being part of a dynamic and experienced team

Salary: above average salary – 13,000 RMB + dependent on the candidate's credentials and experience.

Contract Duration and Vacation: Time off for all major Chinese Holidays and 3-4 week paid break for Winter Break. Training provided at start of contract.

Accommodations: Western-style single person apartment provided by the school, located in an apartment complex on campus or near school.

Flight: Generous flight allowance provided

Health Insurance and Visa: Provided by the school

Hours: 25 teaching hours, Monday to Friday with weekends off

Qualifications: Teachers from USA, UK , Australia and Canada are preferred. Teachers with a Bachelor’s degree, prefer Bachelor’s degree in teaching or related topics to subjects taught: American Literature, Composition, American History, Economics or related degrees; minimum of 2 years work experience post Bachelor’s degree. TEFL Certification and candidates with ESL teaching experience will be given priority.
