Teacher of Adults for Santander, Spain - Starting January 2019

Because of an extended Government contract we are looking for an extra full-time teacher to start in January, 2019 with the contract running running until the end of May, 2019, or beyond. The post largely involves preparing adults or teens for Cambridge PET, FCE and CAE exams.

Job located in the beachside resort of Santander next to the Cantabrian mountain range and within easy reach of the Picos de Europa.

Salary in accordance with Spanish convenio for private academies. FULL social security.

(Note that Santander has a very low cost of living in comparison to the larger cities.)

Preference given to a teacher experienced with preparing students for CEFR B1, B2, C1 exams with an EU passport and a good university degree. The ability to speak Spanish is useful but not essential.

Creativity, outside-the-box thinking and familiarity with using technology as an aid to inspire students very much appreciated.

(Note: Regrettably, because of the extreme difficulty of obtaining visas, the offer is not open to non EU citizens without a current work permit.)
