Teachers Needed at Primary School in Shanghai (ses)
Job Description:
- Teach English to grades 1-5
- Twenty 30 minute classes per week
- All classes scheduled M-F 8:00–4:00
- Curriculum in place, although teachers are encouraged to be creative and supplement lessons with other activities (training/resources provided)
- Opportunities, if desired—to participate in extra-curricular activities
Qualifications:
- Hold a TEFL certificate
- Hold a university bachelor degree
- Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience
- Be 24 years of age (Shanghai Province visa law requirement)
Compensation:
- 10-month contract, starting September 1st
- 11,000-12000 RMB net per calendar month (Equal to 13,500--14500 RMB before taxes)
- 8,000 RMB end-of-contract bonus (related to completion of contract and performance).
- Travel allowance 8,000 RMB per year, ½ paid upon completion of 1st semester, ½ upon completion of contract.
- Paid accidence insurance.
- Paid winter vacation between semesters (4 week paid holiday, ideal to visit the country)
- On-going teacher development
- Bilingual staff to assist with housing/cultural issues
- Team dinners/trips to nearby sights
