Teachers Needed in Beijing, China

Boston Ivy Global in Beijing is an English Education company that has relationships with over 10 elementary and high schools in the Da Xing area, which is about 40 mins from the centre and quieter with less traffic. We also have a number of special educational projects with the schools involving Drama, STEAM (US Elementary system) and teacher training. We also have our own small school.

The owners are Boston based and therefore management is Western style. With teachers being assisted with every day living and needs for life in a foreign country.

Our teachers work up to 18 hours a week, which is 24 oral English classes of about 35-40 mins. The preparation is shared between our teachers through a system based on Cambridge ESL teaching. Lesson planning is done through a share system, which keeps planning time to a minimum and the majority of curriculum and materials is already for use next semester.

We currently have about 8 teachers and as one or two are leaving in summer, we are seeking a 2-3 more. We provide accommodation and all utilities and Internet costs. Wages are from 12,500-15,000 RMB depending on education and experience.
