Teachers Needed in China - Beijing, Harbin, Shen Yang
Hello there! We are Eduwo International Kindergartens! We have three locations and one more coming in February 2013. Two locations are in Beijing, one in Shen Yang, and one more in Harbin. We are looking for native English speakers to teach at each of our locations. We need at least 2 people at each kindergarten. Here is some more information about us:
Our core values in education are:
* Each child is unique. One hundred children speak one hundred languages and live one hundred different lives. The best education addresses individual child's needs and nurtures, rather than teaches, individual children to create their own life.
* Years 0 to 6 are the most important period of time for a child to develop intelligence and personal characters, which reflect the old Chinese saying ‘you can see an adult at 3 years old and you can one's whole life at year 7.¡&plusm n;
* Each child's eight (8) Multiple Intelligences should be developed to the full including Verbal Linguistic, Math Logical -the Scientist, Spatial - the Builder, Musical - the Composer, Bodily Kinesthetic The Athlete, Interpersonal The Peacemaker, Intrapersonal The Philosopher and Naturalist The Earth Lover
* A safe caring and encouraging physical and human environment is the base for valuable child education.
* Parents and family environment are children's first teachers. EIK's safe, caring and encouraging human environment also include parents and caregivers of our children.
Job responsibilities of Early Childhood English Teacher
1. Responsible for two different classes, half-day with each.
2. In charge of indoor and outdoor activities.
3. Writing a coherent lesson plan for the week.
4. Communicating with parents and the directors.
Qualifications
1. Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree or Associate degree or Diploma in early childhood education or TESOL with strong GPA (2.5 or above out of 4) in a native English speaking country.
2. Hold or is eligible to have teaching certificate, or hold a TESOL certificate
Requirements
1. Familiarity with current childhood pedagogy as well as early childhood teaching methods and materials.
2. Willingness to learn and assist teaching children of 2-6 years old teamed with another native Speaking English teacher or Chinese/English speaking teacher.
3. Willingness to learn and take direction in the preparation of classroom teaching and lesson planning.
4. Ability to work under pressure
5. Strong coordination skills
6. Some marketing and analysis skills along with high degree of creativity.
