Teachers Needed in Shanghai

 
The Activity Box runs two international preschool centres in Shanghai, China. Founded in 2007, we offer half and full-day programmes for toddlers aged between 12 months and 4 years.

We are currently seeking teachers to start work in our JingAn branch. You will work as a homeroom teacher and will be team teaching with a Chinese teacher (who can converse in English). You will be teaching English (using the Letterland phonics curriculum), arts and crafts and simple music and movement sessions.

Work hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.15 am to 5pm. This includes direct teaching hours as well as time given for preparation of class materials.

We are looking for teachers with a love for children. You should be able to read books to the entire class in a lively manner and know nursery songs and rhymes.

Other requirements:

a) Native English Speaker

b) Bachelor's Degree

c) Teaching Qualifications

d) Full-time work experience (preferred)

Salary: 15000 to 18000 RMB/month depending on your qualifications and experience. Work visa sponsorship will be provided.

Our team of expatriate teachers and Chinese teachers work closely together. We are looking for a team players who can commit to us for at least one year.
