Teachers Needed in South Korea

British Council Korea is recruiting for enthusiastic and experienced English Teachers to join our professional teams in April 2012.

As a member of the teaching team, you will work closely with fellow Teachers and/or Senior Teachers you support in delivering high quality English language teaching and courses. You will also have the opportunity receive funding for the DELTA and gain intensive Young Learner training.

Key Requirements:

• first degree (from an English-speaking country for visa purposes) in any discipline
• internationally recognised TEFL certificate (i.e. Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL)
• minimum two years full-time relevant experience post TEFL qualification particularly in the age groups 7 to 12 and adults
• high proficiency in English
• self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills

You will receive an excellent package including flights from the UK (or equivalent location) to Korea, baggage allowance, settling-in allowance, medical insurance and a competitive salary. The monthly salary is paid in two components, UK Sterling and Korean Won, and the starting salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
