Teachers Needed in Yichang, Hubei for the Spring and Fall Semesters

The school is in Yiling District in Yichang and is part of the Tianwen education group. There is an international program there that is currently focused on teaching English in the context of Math, Science, Geography, History, Drama and Art. In coming years the school plans to have English only curriculum for students seeking an international education, but right now we need teachers to help give the students a better basis in English. Join now and get on the ground floor of a new project. Also, there are other classes that are just plain English classes, if that's what you would rather teach, either way, teachers are needed as soon as possible.

If you are willing to teach primary and middle school students in a city full of possibility, then come to Yichang! Ages can be anywhere from 7 to 17, so even if you want to teach secondary students, there are options for you, too.

You get a furnished apartment. More than enough wages to live in a low cost of living area. The pay is on a sliding scale that depends on your qualifications and starts at 7000 RMB / month, but can be much more. The school offers free breakfast, lunch and dinner and a room in the dormitories, if you are so inclined. There is a really good support system for foreign teachers, there are helpful Chinese speakers and a few foreigners that work at Tianwen and other schools in town that are always willing to help. The school will help with and Z-visa procedures if you are not already in China. And will reimburse any airfare incurred to travel here.

We are currently seeking three more teachers to start next semester, in February or March.

Minimum qualifications: (More likely to get a job next fall if you only meet these qualifications)

Fluent to native-like English level

Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Recommended Qualifications: (Likely to get a job for this upcoming semester if you meet some or all of these qualifications)

China experience

Teaching experience

Z-Visa

Masters Degree or equivalent

TESOL certificate
