Teachers Wanted for a Great Position Teaching Kids and Teens in Kunming, Yunnan

Summit Foreign Language school is looking for qualified and enthusiastic teachers to join our team. We are a small private language school in a fantastic location near Yunnan University. Our students are typically between kindergarten and high school age. If you have a preference for age group, let us know in the cover letter. We are looking for a candidate with:

• Teaching experience (2 or more years preferred).
• A teaching qualification.
• A BA or higher from a university in a native English speaking country.
• A positive, friendly and proactive attitude.

We can offer the right candidate:

• Starting salary of at least RMB 8000.
• RMB 1000 housing allowance.
• Small class sizes with a maximum of 10 students.
• Plenty of free time during the week. (You would work 21 hours and have weekday mornings and early afternoons off).
• Great opportunities for travel. (One month off for Chinese New Year on half salary, one month off in the Summer and generous holidays on national holidays/ festivals.
• Health Insurance.
• Contract completion bonus of RMB 8000.

Kunming is the capital city of Yunnan province in Southwest China. It is a gateway to South East Asia and shares borders with Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. It is also famous for its beautiful ancient towns of Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La. Kunming is a great base for people interested in exploring the surrounding area.
