TEACHING ENGLISH ALONG THE SILK ROAD! EF Urumqi Training school is currently looking for full time native English teachers to start work immediately. Situated in the very heart of Asia it is a perfect place to experience both teaching and living in the cultural melting pot of China's far west.We are looking for relaxed,dynamic teachers with a qualication in the ESL field.

Qualifications

Candidates must have recognized teaching English as a foreign certification and/or a University Degree.

EFL classroom experience is also desirable, but not essential. In some cases,extensive relevant TEFL experience can be considerated in lieu of formal TEFL qualifications.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary with a 10% raise for teachers signing a second year contract. The employee may also have the right to a bonus upon renewal of their contract.

New teachers arriving at the school will be pleased to know that the accommodation is within a 20 minute walk from the school and is of an excellent standard. Buses and taxis also link the schools to the accommodation. The city has a range of entertainment from the English cinema, to the Xinjiang sports stadium, Botanical Gardens, amusement parks and numerous bars, KTV's, restaurants and gyms all within easy access of the schools. Shopping is easy and convenient with a range of malls, department stores and supermarkets stocking local and international food.

Urumqi is linked to the rest of China and neighboring countries by air, train and bus. Within the city buses, taxis and the BRT make it easy to move around and for the teachers in the different schools to meet up and enjoy visiting different areas of the city or just hanging out.
