Teaching in China

BATW offers an exciting and affordable opportunity for native English speakers or near native speakers to live, work, and travel in this fascinating country. You will teach an average of 18~20 hours per week, which leaves you enough time to see the sites and explore the rich cultural backdrop of China's expansive history. The students range from private academics, public elementary and secondary schools. Contract extension would be highly appreciated according to your performance and your wishes. China includes English in their school's curriculum at a young age, so most students are proficient with English reading and writing, but are shy and embarrassed to practice their conversational skills. As an English language skills teacher, you will engage with and make your students like speaking English and feel more comfortable by interacting with them in your native tongue.

Job Reference: native oral english speaker

Workload: about 18 classes per week, each class for 45 minutes. You will have weekend off, no office hour
Degree: University Degree or Higher
Certificate: TESOL /TEFL certificate is highly recommended
Experience preferred but not required
Salary: Different according to your qualification with free accommodations and meals
Accommodation: Provide Private Apartment which is furnished, school will pay the fee of water, electric internet
Meals: Offer three meals at school free
Bonus: If your performance is good, we may give you some bonus.
Salary increase: If you cooperate with us for two semesters, we will increase your salary for 500 at the second semester
Airport pick-up
we will cover transportation expenses from Beijing to our school. Qualified teacher who cooperate with us for two terms, air ticket may be reimbursed.
