Teaching in China – English Teachers Needed Now!

We need English teachers for jobs in Zhengzhou, and also Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other cities. We need recent graduates to teach English mainly in Chinese Primary and Middle schools (age range 6-12, 12-16), starting at the beginning of September. We are also looking for teachers for universities and private language schools (young learners and teenagers) with a rolling start. We have many jobs in Zhengzhou (our base), but we also have positions in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and other cities. A typical contract is for 10 months, including 20 hours of teaching per week as well as some extra duties such as running tests, joining excursions, attending graduation, and staff meetings.  Our basic requirement is a degree in any subject, although previous teaching experience and a TEFL qualification are useful. We are looking for outgoing people with an interesting CV who may have worked with young people in some way. The benefits include a salary of 10000-15000 Yuan per month, a free apartment including bills and wifi, free Mandarin lessons, and reimbursement of flight costs on completion of the contract. We also collaborate with the University of Buckingham, School of Education, UK. Our teachers are eligible to take the Buckingham Independent Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) course over one year while teaching with us in China. The PGCE qualification enables you to teach in many international schools around the world. The Buckingham course is delivered through a combination of teacher visits to Buckingham, tutor visits to you on-site and distance learning.
