Huanggang Normal University (HNU) was founded in 1905, with more than 100 years history, now grown to be a multi-disciplined state-owned university, biggest and best in the area, with both teacher-training and general purpose programs, which gives priority to undergraduate education. The university now has 15 schools, over 15,000 full-time students and 1,176 staff members. Over the past century, HNU has developed into a multi-disciplinary institute of higher education covering eight fields of different specialties. The eight fields are Letters, Science, Engineering, Law, Economics, Administration, Pedagogy, and Agriculture. HNU consists of three campuses and covers a total area of 85.8 hectares including 500,000 square meters of building space. In recent years, HGNU has been successively awarded numerous recognitions, including: "State Outstanding Unit in Forestation", "Provincial Garden-like University", and "Provincial Model school in Student Affairs Administration", as well as various others.
The university is situated in the historic and cultural ancient town Huangzhou, capital of Huanggang City, on the bank of the Yangtze River, east of Hubei province. It is only 1.5 hours drive from Wuhan City, one of the biggest metropolises in China. Travelling to and from the campus is easy as it is located close to Provincial motorway, and train and bus services are frequent.

Job Description:
We are hiring for English Teachers for the Autumn, 2012. The contract length is negotiable, with minimum contract being one academic year. A normal contract includes a substantial salary, and numerous benefits.
The contract benefits include:
1) Month salary from 4600RMB to 5400RMB (applicants with teaching experiences/ Master's Degree/ TESOL or other relevant certificates will get higher salary );
2) 1100RMB travel allowance/semester (paid at the end of each semester);
3) up to 9000RMB in airfare reimbursement (4500RMB paid at the end of the first semester. 4500RMB paid at the end of the second semester);
4) Paid holidays/vacations (you are paid every two weeks, even during the month long Chinese New Year/Spring Festival Holiday);
5) 16 teaching hours per week;
6) A Rent Free two bedroom apartment including, but not limited to: an air conditioner, stove, refrigerator, new computer with internet access, TV with cable access, washing machine, hot water heater, and western style toilet.
7) Free Chinese Training Lessons
8) Pick and drop off at the airport or train station provided by the University upon your arrival and departure.
9) Work Visa/Residence Permit and Foreign Expert Certificate are organized and paid for by the school
10) Medical insurance for accidental injury and hospitalization.
Job Responsibilities include:
1) Teach 16 hours per week, and 18 academic weeks per semester.
2) 1.5 hours of English Corner each week
3) Courses taught will include: Oral English , English Writing and English Listening
Qualifications:
1) A Bachelors Degree or above in any subject
A TESOL/TEFL/TESL/CELTA/DELTA or other certificate is not required
2) Must be a native English Speaker from USA, England, Canada, Australia, or other
country where English is the Mother Tongue/First Language
3) Previous Teaching Experience is not required, but it is helpful
4) Must not be older than 60 years of age
