Teaching Position: ESL/ielts Teacher - Guangzhou China, & Sydney Australia

TopG Education is excited to begin the expansion of our quality IELTS training courses for university and high school aged Chinese students living both in China and Australia. We are seeking qualified professionals to fill live positions in Guangzhou, China and Sydney, Australia for short courses that run for 2-3 weeks and then repeat. These positions are for a face to face teaching situation but please note there is a possibility for these positions to also be available in the future as online teaching positions.

Job Details 
Position: ESL/IELTS Teacher 
Job Location: Guangzhou, China & Sydney, Australia (candidates must note which position they are seeking to apply for) 
Start Date: December 2018 
Hours per week: 12 hours minimum 
Students per class: 5-10 
Remuneration: US$30-40 per hour of teaching depending on experience.

Job Requirements: 
- Design specific IELTS teaching plans for implementation in live classes 
- Provide class notes and detailed feedback on students to management 
- In line with company philosophy provide advice to students on improvement 
- Participate in live demo classes to prospective students

Required qualifications: 
-5+ years of teaching experience 
-2+ years of teaching IELTS 
-native English speaker 
-bachelor degree or masters degree 
-experience in teaching as lecturer at university or college a benefit 
-experience teaching Chinese students a priority 
-provide a CV, certification and evidence of prior teaching experience (teaching slides or video) when applying for the position. 
-applicants are required to note which areas of English teaching they have experience in (Listening, Speaking, Writing, Reading)
