Teaching Position in Xiamen
Xiamen is a beautiful coastal city in southern China’s Fujian Province. This city’s legendary seascape, mild subtropical climate, and plethora of islands, temples and parks make it an ideal tourist destination, and an exciting place to start your new career. Now, a well-regarded mid- sized employer needs TESOL certified teachers to work in this vibrant and modern city.
The Job:
Teaching children and adolescents from pre-K to 12th grade in English speaking, listening, reading, writing, TOEFL and IELTS. Focus is on daily communication. No more than 20 students per class. 2 days off per week. 20 teaching hours per week plus 2 hours of English Corner or evening care (22 hours per week total).
Compensation:
● 6,500 RMB per month
● Round-trip flight allowance. (*Up to 10,000RMB)
● Furnished apartment with utilities.
● Subsidized health insurance
● Paid visas and residence permits
● 30 consecutive days paid vacation + 9 days paid Chinese holiday
● 500 RMB travel bonus every semester
● Free weekly Chinese class
● Academic and Living assistance
● Opportunities for extracurricular activities bonus pay
Qualifications. Candidates generally must:
● Have a TESOL/TEFL certification
● Have 1 year of teaching experience
● Have a bachelors degree
