Muffy’s Learning Centers and Global Track After School and have year-long, full-time teaching positions currently available. See below for details:

Position 1: The Lead Teacher

• Manages, supports, and evaluates the professional development of other teachers

• Is responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child

• Monitors the execution of Muffy’s curricula standards and class quality as part of creating a professional and caring teaching environment

• Serves as a liaison between teachers, school administrators, and sometimes parents

• Coordinates with teachers and site managers on matters of budgeting, purchasing, and site operations

• Instructs a class that serves as a lab for utilizing best teaching practices

Qualifications:

• Degrees/Certifications: BA degree minimum, Early Childhood or Primary School teaching certificate

• Experience: Over 5 years related working experience in a teaching field (including management experience)

• Level of English: Native English speaker required from North America, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand

Details: Contract Start Date: mid-February 2014, or August 2014

Contract: 45 hours/week

Location: Beijing

Contract Duration: 2 years

Compensation: 18,000 to 22,000 RMB/month, net of taxes, salary commensurate with experience.

Position 2: Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten Teacher

As a teacher, you will be working with students from 2 to 4 years old at one of our three Centers around Beijing. Along with our Chinese Teacher Assistants and Daily Life Teachers, your job will be to engage our students to develop their own talents and social competence to become a curious life-long-learner.

In this way our students become fluent in English through a variety of stimulating, hands-on activities and lively conversations with you as caring and experienced teacher

•Perform activities that ensure the safety, involvement and creativity of individual in the group based on our holistic approach philosophy

• Recognize and respond to individual and cultural differences in students and employ different teaching methods that will result in higher student achievement.

Qualifications:

• Native English Speakers from North America, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand

• Bachelor’s degree with teaching license/certificate or Early Childhood Experience

• Weekly teaching hours: 40 hours/week (27.5 Contact hours)

• Location: Beijing

• Duration: 1 year

• Compensation: 13,000 to 18,000 RMB/month, net of taxes, salary commensurate with experience.

Position 3: Global Track After-School ESL Teacher

Global Track is an after-school community center for children ages 3-14. We run Academic, Sports, Fine Arts and other special interest classes in an English immersion environment with curriculum guided by Bloom's taxonomy of learning objectives, focusing on language acquisition, content knowledge, and character development.

Job Description:

• Flexible, caring, dedicated and energetic self-starters who enjoy working with young kids Seasoned as well as younger professionals excited to start exploring careers through ESL education

• Team players who can adapt to a different cultural environment

• Background in Sports and Fine Arts is a strong asset

• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

• Native English speakers from North America, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 1 year ESL teaching program.

Contract:

• Start dates: February 2014

• Working hours: Weekday evenings and weekends, 5 days per week

• Weekly teaching hours: 25

• Location: Beijing

• Contract duration: 1 year

• Compensation: 10,000 ~ 12,000 RMB/month, net of taxes, salary commensurate with experience
