Teaching Positions in Surat Thani, Thailand

Are you a person who loves working with kids? Does the idea that you can have a positive and lasting impact on a child's life excite you? Do you enjoy working with others to collaboratively come up with solutions to difficult problems?

Mathus Language Academy is looking for teachers to start ASAP for a one-year contract.

We Offer: 
- Starting salary of 33,000 THB. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

- 15,000 THB end-of-contract bonus.

- Accident insurance and access to social insurance.

- Work permits and visas - no funny business or visa runs here. We're legit.

- Housing stipend of 3,000 baht per month.

- No more than 22 teaching hours per week.

* Wifi is available throughout the entire school meaning your lessons can include awesome videos with pen pals from around the world or even live Skype video calls.

* A TV or Projector in every classroom

* No required office hours, however collaboration with the team is always great and encouraged.

* Weekly Thai Language classes.

Optional 'Family dinner' with P’Nong and The Doctor (the owners of the school) aka your new Thai parents, on Sundays.

We Require: 
Native English speakers with University degrees.

Experience working with children in some capacity, or at the very least, a very strong desire to work with children.

Working laptop to use for lesson planning and in-classroom activities (videos, PowerPoint, games, etc.).

We Like: 
Caring educators. Teaching English is no different than teaching anything - it starts with understanding and working with individuals. 
Passionate learners. We currently employ people from different walks of life, not just teaching.
