Yellow River Bilingual School has been employing foreign teachers for more than ten years and the foreign teaching department is run by a Canadian who has been at the school for six years. As a result of our experience we can guarantee a level of assistance and understanding that many schools in China simply can not. We are a normal school (not a training center or after school program) and as such we work a typical Monday-Friday morning schedule with all holidays and summer vacations off, just like schools in North America. • Passport from a western country (i.e., Canada, US, Britain, etc.)

• Kindergarten/Floating Teacher (reduced hours)
• Grade 1 Teacher
• Grade 3 Teacher

• 1,000 students from kindergarten to grade five
• class sizes range from the low twenties to the mid-thirties
• Running track, basketball courts, and other athletic facilities on campus
• Cafeteria serving free breakfast/lunch/dinner five days a week
• Chinese teaching assistants to help you with things inside and outside the classroom
• Full curriculum with all teaching materials provided
• Support in designing lessons and getting around Dongying from a Canadian teaching supervisor who has been at the school for six years

• Net pay of 7,000 RMB (negotiable if you have outstanding qualification or experience)
• Maximum of twenty-four 35 minute classes per week (14 teaching hours)
• September 2014 - June 2015 contract (10 months)
• Full airfare reimbursement (with no cap)
• Medical insurance reimbursement
• One month vacation for the Winter Holiday as well as all standard public holidays
• Monday - Friday workweek

• Dongying has attracted people from all over China with wages above the national average. This means that you can find authentic Chinese food from all over China
• Being a prosperous city, crime is low in Dongying especially when compared to larger cities such as Beijing or Shanghai
• There is no shortage of shopping areas in Dongying, with everything from barter markets to imported designer clothing available
• Dongying also has multiple Western Restaurants and several chain restaurants such as KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and Dairy Queen for a little taste of back home
