TEFL Teacher for Children Required in Beijing, China
Position available for a children's TEFL teacher in Beijing (near Longze station, line 13). There are a maximum of 20 teaching hours a week, with 2/3 classes on Tuesday to Friday evenings and a full day on Saturday. Sundays and Mondays are days off. Class sizes at the school are small- maximum 8 students and there is a Chinese speaking adult present in each class. The school is friendly and well-run and offers support for teaching and for out of school affairs (visa, apartment, banking, utilities etc.) as required. This makes the position ideal for a newly qualified or inexperienced teacher, although experienced candidates are also welcome to apply.
The school offers:
1. Guaranteed monthly salary of 17,500RMB+ depending on qualifications and experience
2. Overtime pay if teaching hours exceed 80 hours/ month
3. 2 hours of free Chinese lessons weekly- taught by a qualified teacher of Chinese
4. End of contract bonus

9. Assistance in finding accommodation and 7 days hotel provided upon arrival
10. 22 paid days leave per year including Chinese national holidays and Christmas Day

The school requires that candidates have:
1. University Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
2. Passport from South Africa, the UK, USA, Ireland, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
3. CELTA,TESOL or TEFL certification (120 hours, online is acceptable). Assistance can be provided for otherwise qualified candidates to get a Chinese government sponsored TEFL.
4. Interest in, and ideally experience of, working with young children
Applicants are expected to be able to commit to a 1 year initial contract and to be able to start work by mid-December 2018.
