TEFL Teachers

We require experienced teachers that have previously worked with children (teaching is a huge plus, even if it’s coaching or mentoring). A TEFL certificate also shows the candidate is willing to spend money on their own professional development and that they are motivated to get into the field (rather than teaching simply being the sole available way to live into Asia).

Approximate monthly salary: ¥9,500 - ¥15,800
• Annual total ¥48,000 breakdown
• Monthly meal allowance on provision of invoice up to ¥1,000
• Monthly housing allowance on provision of invoice up to ¥2,000 - ¥4,000
• Other yearly salary ¥19,500 breakdown
• Performance bonus: ¥8,000 (¥2,000 distributed four times throughout the year)
• ¥4,000 medical insurance including accident and outpatient coverage
• Contract completion bonus: ¥6,000 (distributed at the end of contract)
• Annual travel allowance on provision of receipt ¥3,000 (distributed at the end of contract)
• Relocation allowance: ¥1,250 - ¥1,750
• National Holidays + 5 paid school holiday
• Z-visa & work permit: z-visa and work permit provided, cost reimbursed by the school

Education: Teachers must hold at least a 4-year Bachelor’s degree and have it authenticated by their local Chinese embassy.
Nationality: Canadian, American, British, South African, New Zealand, Australian (Candidates must be a native English speaker)
Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience post graduating from their bachelor’s degree Previous ESL teaching experience preferred
Other: None-criminal record certification TEFL or equivalent
