Our client is a Beijing based arts university. Established in 1959 the institution has six main departments and offers a number of key programs for students. There are more than 7400 students including many from abroad.

As part of the university’s growth they are looking for a number of talented design teachers. Teachers with a background in fashion design, graphic design and/ or interior design would all be considered.

Job Description:

1. Number of positions available: 1

2. Starting date: September, 2013

3. Working days: Monday to Friday

4. Working hours: 40 hours per week in total including office period (typical day will be one hour of teaching with remainder tutoring individual students in design projects)

5. Subject: Design

6. Location: Chaoyang District, Beijing

7. Age range: 18-23 years

8. Class size: Varies

9. Additional information: You will be required to organize your teaching materials and teaching plan

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Degrees: Bachelor degree or above (preferably design-related)

2. Time/Experience: Relevant teaching experience is necessary

3. Level of English: Native English speaker preferred

4. Other qualifications: Currently located in China preferred

5. When to start: Able to start soon

Salary and Benefits:

1. Base salary: 18000-22000 CNY/month
2. Healthcare: Health insurance provided
3. Accommodation allowance: Standard apartment provided
4. Flights allowance: Round airfare allowance provided
5. Visa given: Will sponsor Z visa application
6. Holidays: Public holidays, Christmas holidays, half-paid Summer and Winter holidays
