Workload and benefits:

• 
  For university: 18 periods of face-to-face teaching per week (each period is 45 minutes)


• 
  For kindergarten: 8:30am to 10:30am and 2:00pm to 5:00pm (some Saturday mornings may be required)


• 
  Salary: 5500RMB per month and above depending on experience and qualifications


• 
  Travel allowance: 2200RMB per year


• 
  International travel allowance: 9800 RMB per year


• 
  Accommodation: Furnished apartment with facilities including, TV, AC, telephone, free internet access

  Medical insurance


• 
  Holidays: Dec. 24th & 25th for Christmas and all others are the same as local teachers

  Paid winter & summer holidays (approx. 4 & 8 weeks respectively) if working consecutive semesters

Here's something a little different: ZYUFL is a foreign language university with a staff of 80 foreign teachers from all around the world. Walking through our campus, you can hear conversations taking place in English, Japanese, French, Arabic, etc.

Our university is located in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province - a "small" Chinese city of 4 million people. :) Shaoxing is a ancient, cultural city with many historic tourist sites. The city has a network of canals and is sometimes called, "The Venice of China." There are many conveniences and attractions like modern shopping malls, "Western" bars/restaurants, tourist landmarks, hiking at the mountain behind the university, and even an indoor ski resort in the neighboring town. Also, Shaoxing is about 2 hours from Shanghai by train and 45 minutes from Hangzhou Xiaoshan international airport by bus, making it easy to get away for the weekend.
