Job Description and responsibilities

The Education department is recruiting a Teacher Trainer. This is a an excellent opportunity for an experienced, creative, adaptable and self motivated teacher to make the next step up in their teaching career and develop their teaching and management skills in different working environment.

You (the successful candidate) will have the opportunity to be a part of a team that develops and supports the Education staff that work at Web. You will be directly involved in improving the educational experience of students at Web. It's a great opportunity to for you to help students nationwide!

As well as developing yourself as a teacher you can get involved in shaping the future of Web and developing other skills needed for a career in ESL such as project management, course development, HR skills and people management skills.

A Teacher Trainer's main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Training - A Teacher Trainer conducts various types of training for ESL Teachers. New Teacher Induction (NTI), WebEx Training and onsite training in centers. Business travel maybe required.

Center Visits and staff development - A Teacher Trainer conducts center visits and class observations on a regular basis. A Teacher Trainer also interviews teacher candidates and gives exit interviews to those who are leaving

Material Development - A Teacher Trainer develops Web's teaching material and training resources. Current projects include creating 020 project, Salon rewrite project, Web Academy.

Cross-departmental Activities - A Teacher Trainer assists other departments with promotional activities and corporate clients. Examples are the Teacher Recruitment Website and overseas study trips.

Support - Under exceptional circumstances a Teacher Trainer provides teaching support in centers in and out of Shanghai.

1) More than one year of working experience as ESL Teacher;

2) An excellent record as ESL Teacher at your centre;

3) Great passion for training and academic development;

4) Deep understanding of Web's education system, philosophy and its products

Work Hours£º40 hours - 9:00-18:00 - Monday to Friday however you will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
