Various Teaching Positions

At Thai Christian School our Bilingual Program is growing. As a result we are pleased to announce we are looking for additional teachers in our Kindergarten and Primary Department. The available positions are as follows:

• 2 x kindergarten 1 teachers

• a kindergarten 3 teacher

• a grade 1 homeroom teacher

• a grade 2 homeroom teacher

We have additional positions available in our Primary and Secondary Department. They are as follows:

• 2 x grade 3 homeroom teachers

• a grade 10 English teacher

• a grade 12 English teacher

Our sister school Thai Christian School Sapanluang, also has the following 3 positions available:

• a primary English teacher

• a primary Science and Social Studies teacher

• a kindergarten teacher

Clearly state what position(s) you are applying for in your cover letter. All positions are for the 2014 – 2015 academic year, starting in May 2014.

Thai Christian School’s starting salary is between 42,000 and 50,000 baht depending on experience and qualifications. The package also includes paid holidays, Thai national holidays, health insurance, a completion bonus, visa and work permit assistance, free lunch and additional teaching opportunities for extra income.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Be a native English speaker from The United States of America, The United Kingdom, The Republic of Ireland, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area.

- Have a minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience teaching in the subject for which they are applying.

- Be able to present all original documents on the day of the interview and be ready for a teaching demonstration, if required.
