Vice President of Enrollment, Strategy, and Recruitment

ELS Educational Services, located in Princeton, NJ, invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President of Enrollment Management, Strategy, and Recruitment Services. It is expected that the new Vice President will begin duties as soon as possible.


Founded in 1961, ELS Educational Services is dedicated to creating and enabling International Education and Pathways for its students and its university partners. ELS is committed to its mission to provide a full and seamless service of educational opportunities to its students through language instruction, documentation support, and application and enrollment guidance. The position requires an experienced leader who will lead recruitment efforts for undergraduate, graduate, and nontraditional programs, develop an effective retention program, and enable ELS to reach it long-term goals for enrollment growth.


Priorities

The Vice President for Enrollment Management will be expected to:
  • Manage the ELS recruitment process locally and internationally
  • Develop and implement an effective recruitment strategy
  • Enhance existing partnerships and develop new partnerships with colleges and universities
  • Develop an effective web strategy by working with the ELS marketing team to optimize marketing, visibility, and ELS's global reach and reputation.


Qualifications

The Vice President will:
  • Have a Master's degree; a terminal doctoral degree is desirable
  • Have a minimum of 8 years of experience and a excellent track record in undergraduate and graduate admissions and recruitment
  • Have significant experience with the use of social media and online resources in admissions
  • Be a strategic thinker with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Be passionately committed to education and student sucess and be able to enlist partner support of the mission of ELS
  • Have an understanding of the needs and experiences of international students and knowledge global social, political, and economic trends relevant to their future lives and work
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and experience to incorporate data collection, analysis, and benchmarking, and familiarity with “best practices” in admissions and retention planning and assessment
  • Be goal driven, self=motivated, and aspirational personally and professionally
