Wala Wala Hangzhou Is Now Hiring for Late September

Our friendly and small private school in downtown Hangzhou needs two native English teachers to begin training in September and begin teaching by early October. We offer 10,000 RMB/month + free apartment + a one-month bonus for completing a one-year contract. At current exchange rates, a frugal teacher can expect to save $10,000 in one year quite easily. Training is also paid.

In return, you will teach children from 3-12 years old up to 24 hours per week. Unlike other locations, our school has a maximum of 12 students in each class, but at present most classes include only 3-8 pupils. You will be pleased to see how much each student is able to learn in such a nurturing environment. Teaching assistants sit-in on every class and help with preparation and grading.

Your single, private apartment in a comfortable high-rise is a 10-minute walk from the school in the busy neighborhood of Zhaohui. Walk to the swimming pool, cafes, bookstores and the movie theater or take a stroll along the Hangzhou-Beijing canal in the evening. Nearby are mountains, scenic areas, West Lake and many other less-frequented natural destinations. Images are available.

Please, only native English speakers with a university degree, TEFL/TESL/TESOL certificate and some teaching experience. Additionally, experience with children - particularly teaching language in a fun and creative way - is preferred. For visa reasons we can unfortunately only consider those between the ages of 23 and 50.
