We have a unique opportunity for an experienced English Language Teacher with an interest in international education to teach English in our new Jinhua Polytechnic Wintec International College in China. You will be working with students enrolled in Diploma’s in Information Technology (Multimedia, Electronic and Networking).

This is a fixed term position starting in late September for the academic year with the potential for further work, teaching in the classroom up to 24 hours per week.

You must have a degree in English/Linguistics/Literature and post grad studies in TESOL or equivalent and experience teaching EFL, EAP or ESAP. Ideally you will speak some Mandarin and have worked in China teaching younger and adult learners with limited levels of English.

As our International College starts teaching in September we are looking for people who are able to relocate quickly, experienced, resilient and have a passion for education and the English Language.

Jinhua, China runs different semester dates to Hamilton, New Zealand, so you may have the opportunity to teach for the Wintec Hamilton city campus during the New Zealand summer school in January 2016 for three weeks before heading back for the start of semester in Jinhua, China.
