About the program: Our US High School Diploma program is designed for Chinese High School students that will be attending college in the US or other English speaking countries. The program will allow these Chinese students to receive a US High School Diploma in addition to their Chinese HS Diploma. Greatly increasing the students' ability to get accepted into the best US colleges and preparing them to study in an English speaking college.
Job Description:Work in a public high school in China with average class sizes of 15 - 30 students. Teaching is scheduled between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. All students are high school aged students. American Curriculum for High School subject courses including American Literature, Composition, American History, Economics, and SAT/TOEFL Preparation courses. Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week.Currently hiring for programs in Shijiazhuang and Quanzhou, China.
Salary: Above average salary - 8000 RMB+ dependent on the candidate's credentials and experience.
Contract Duration:10 month contracts, late August until early July.
Accommodations: Western style single person apartment provided by the school. Typically near very near campus
Flight:Reimbursement provided by the school
Health Insurance: Provided by the school.
Visa: Assistance provided by school.
Holidays and Vacation: All major Chinese Holidays and 3-4 week paid break during Winter Break.
Qualifications: Teachers with a Bachelor's degree, Prefer Bachelor's degree in teaching or related topics to subjects taught: American Literature, Composition, American History, Economics or related degrees; minimum of 2 years work experience post Bachelor's degree, Prefer TEFL Teaching Certificate or similar, native speakers and prefer American or Canadian citizens.
