School Information

The school started with a single school back in 1986, and has steadily expanded through Taiwan and across China. We now have over 200 branches in Taiwan, over 200 in Mainland China, and many more branches are scheduled to open in the future.

The school also publishes textbooks, curricula, audio-visual media, and other teaching resources. We currently supply education materials to over 7000 schools, including elementary schools and privately owned schools in Taiwan and China. We are proud of our reputation as one of the leading educational organizations in Asia.

The students are aged 3-12 years old. Classes range from 40 minutes to an hour or two hours. Classes include phonics, language arts, songs, stories, grammar, conversation, and plenty of activities. Some branches also offer extra-curricular subjects. Classrooms usually have between 8 and 20 students. For some classes, especially those with young learners, a co-teacher is also present in the classroom. The co-teacher will have other responsibilities for the class (usually communicating with parents, checking homework, completing administrative duties, etc.). For most classes, the foreign teacher's main objective is to strengthen the students' English speaking and listening skills.

Main Responsibilities

• 31 working hours / week (max 20 hours teaching )
• Deliver engaging, effective lessons to children
• Complete all administration tasks in a timely manner
• Actively participate in school activities, fieldtrips, open houses
• Attend professional development workshops and trainings

Requirements

• N ative English speaker
• Bachelor's degree
• At least 120 hour TEFL/TESOL certificate
• 2 years teaching experience preferred

Compensation Package

• Monthly salary:11,000 – 13,000 RMB (depending on teaching experience and qualification)
