We Need a Science or Mathematics Teacher/tutor in Shanghai

Position:

Foreign Teacher/1-to-1 tutor (Science/Mathematics)

Shanghai, China

INTRODUCTION

Our Academy focuses on providing students with elite private tutoring services from outstanding foreign teachers located both locally in China and around the world. We prepare students for life at schools and universities abroad by providing tuition in a wide-range of individual subjects as well as preparation for entrance examinations such as the IELTS and TOEFL, among others. We also perform mock interviews and help students adjust to the different teaching methods of the western education system.

Our mission is to educate all students interested in learning English, gaining entrance at a foreign or international school, or those seeking help in a number of other subjects, all of which are taught entirely in English.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification; BA degree or advanced degree in subject prefer

• Knowledge of IGCSE, IB and/or A-level syllabuses in math subject

• Knowledge of IGCSE, IB and/or A-level syllabuses in science subjects, i.e., physics, chemistry or biology

• At least 1 years regular tutoring experience

• Or school teacher in your subject(s)

• Can work on the weekends

• Native English speakers from major English speaking countries

Responsibilities：

ESL Teachers are mainly responsible for our one-on-one tuition class and some demo classes. Teachers' duty also include:

• Props-making and maintenance

• Continuously learn teaching theory and improve teaching skills

• Support Marketing Department to organize and implement activities.

• Testing for the students

• Training part-time teachers as required

In addition, we prefer teachers possessing below qualities:

• Able to deliver classes in fun and creative ways

• Experience of working in a multicultural environment

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

• Highly organized and punctuality

• Work well under pressure and highly motivated, with the ability to face challenges

• A confident, energetic, and dynamic personality
