Web in Shijiazhuang

Web International Shijiazhuang Centre was founded in March 2012. We are centrally located on Guang An Street, a major business and commercial hub, just off central Zhong Shan Road. There are restaurants aplenty near the school and several beautiful parks not too far away. We have three full-time teachers at present and need new teachers urgently as student numbers are growing rapidly.

About the City of Shijiazhuang

Shijiazhuang is the capital city of Hebei Province. The city is ringed by mountains that are visible in the distance and day trips to several scenic spots are possible. The Botanic Gardens are a must-see in spring and summer. Several hot springs in the area are a pleasure in the colder months of the year. A 45-minute trip from the city centre takes you to Bai Lin Temple, one of the most famous Buddhist Temples in the north of China.

Shijiazhuang is not far from Beijing and a journey there takes under 2 hours. The airport in Zheng Ding County, Shijiazhuang, connects you to the rest of China. Most people in Shijiazhuang speak a very standard form of Mandarin, so if you are interested in learning the language, Shijiazhuang is the place for you.

Job Summary

Teaching at Web International English Shijiazhuang is interesting, challenging and rewarding. The teaching method Web International utilizes is a combination of multimedia courseware, ESL classes, Chinese Tutor's follow up and diverse extra- curricula activities. We are looking for those who thrive in, and enjoy, the experience of a different culture and who wish to develop their professional ESL teaching skills.

Job Description:

- 5 working days per week

- Maximum 25 teaching hours per week and 15 hours office hours

- Class size: 4-10 students (Ages: 18 and up )

- Pre-made lesson plans and training curriculum

Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive remuneration package of 10,100 to 11,100

- Flight reimbursement paid in two parts after the 6th and 12th month pay cycle

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Native speaker of English from the following countries: (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa)

- Bachelor's degree or above

- At least two years solid classroom teaching experience.

- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate

- 25 to 60 years of age

- Punctual, outgoing and enthusiastic work attitude
