Writer/editor Position for English Tests and Study Materials
THE COMPANY: YBM is the largest publisher of English language materials in South Korea and also the largest language institute in the country, with nearly a hundred corporate, affiliated and franchised centers.
THE JOB:
*Developing English-language test materials, particularly TOEIC.
*Writing and editing English conversation and other English study materials.
THE OFFER: A full-time position working Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the company's Yeoksam office in central Seoul. From April of 2012, the office will relocate to the Chongno area. Salary ranges from 2.3 million won (under 1 year experience) to 2.5 million (2 years or more) per month. Higher salary is negotiable depending on experience. There are 10 paid vacation days per year. We also offer up to 10 million won in key money.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Korean resident preferred.
* Good command of English writing. (Experience in writing is desired.)
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational areas in Korea needed.
* A bachelor's degree with a major in English, journalism, or a related field.
* Candidates must be native English speakers with a good working knowledge of grammar.
* The ability to work as a team is very important.
